As of June 2022, only some dates for Italy’s 2022 Christmas markets have been officially announced or confirmed.
Below, you’ll find a table summarizing the dates that we know of so far.
NOTE: For Christmas markets in the northern parts of Italy where German is widely spoken, we’ve provided the location names in both Italian and German, as both appear in promotional materials depending on which language you’re browsing in. In the case of cities with famous English names, we have included those with the Italian names in brackets.

Please can you confirm the Christmas market dates for Bologna , Civitanova and Assisi
Hi Hala, we have not yet been able to find any official dates for those events. We assume organizers are waiting until closer to the festive period to make a final decision, dependent on how cases/numbers develop. We will be sure to update this post when we hear more!
Verona’s Christmas Market opens tomorrow, November 12 and runs through December 26.
