NOTE: Most Christmas markets don’t announce their confirmed dates until a few months before, so please excuse the sparse list for the time being! We’ll be sure to update this list with more dates as soon as they are released. Let us know in the comments if you know of any we should add for 2026!

Christmas market dates for 2026 will be confirmed later in the year. For now, here are the 2025 dates for your reference.
NOTE: For Christmas markets in the northern parts of Italy where German is widely spoken, we’ve provided the location names in both Italian and German, as both appear in promotional materials depending on which language you’re browsing in. In the case of cities with famous English names, we have included those with the Italian names in brackets.

Please can you confirm the Christmas market dates for Bologna , Civitanova and Assisi
Hi Hala, we have not yet been able to find any official dates for those events. We assume organizers are waiting until closer to the festive period to make a final decision, dependent on how cases/numbers develop. We will be sure to update this post when we hear more!
Verona’s Christmas Market opens tomorrow, November 12 and runs through December 26.
