Naples Christmas Market Locations
Where can you find Christmas market stalls in Naples? Here are some spots you cannot miss.
Via San Gregorio Armeno
Sandwiched between the popular shopping streets of Spaccanapoli and Via dei Tribunali, Via San Gregorio Armeno is home to one of the most famous and unique ‘Christmas markets’ in Naples, thanks to its abundance of amazing shops and stalls selling Nativity scene figures.
Whether you’re looking for classic religious figures like the Three Wise Men, or perhaps secular figures like prominent footballers of the Queen of England, this is a great spot to check out for a truly unique souvenir.
And while this area is open year round, during Christmas time it becomes an especially festive spot to browse and explore.
National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa
For a Naples Christmas market held in a uniquely beautiful setting, look no further than the (relatively new) Mercatini di Natale Napoli (Naples Christmas markets) held each year at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa.
Besides being able to soak in Christmas vibes while exploring the museum’s historic vintage train wagons, you’ll also find a number of wooden huts selling all sorts of great gifts and treats, along with an exciting programme for kids which includes performances, games and all kinds of entertainment.
Vomero Christmas Fairs
The Vomero neighbourhood of Naples is home to another great Christmas market which has various stalls scattered around, with plenty of great opportunities for shopping and eating.
In the past, the market stalls have been placed at…
- Piazza degli Artisti
- via Enrico Alvino
- via Kauffmann / Via P. Bertini (Mascagna Park)
Il Magico Parco di Santa Claus (Santa Claus Magic Park)
Held at the Mostra D’Oltremare Napoli, this fun Christmas event in Naples offers a number of fun festive activities designed with kids in mind, from choosing/decorating one’s own little Christmas tree to a post office where you can write and send a letter to Santa himself.
Of course, there are fun things to do at this Naples Christmas market for adults as well – from several tasty food stalls to market stalls selling gifts and souvenirs.
