While it takes place for only one weekend a year, the Tübingen Christmas Market is special in its focus on handmade products, whether they be carved, knitted, painted or (in the case of food) prepared by hand.
Little wonder why it’s often considered to be one of the most charming smaller Christmas markets in Baden-Württemberg.
We first visited Tübingen around Christmas time in December 2019 for the chocolART festival (Germany’s biggest chocolate festival) and fell in love with the beauty of this small city, along with its festive decor.
While our visit sadly didn’t coincide with the Tübingen Christmas Market, we nonetheless wanted to share some wintery photos of Tübingen with you, along with helpful information we’ve assembled from research about Tübingen’s Christmas market festivities.
