You can typically find Christmas market stalls and programming in Schwerin at the following locations:
Altstädtischer Markt
Located in Marktplatz, this is the main section of the Schwerin Christmas Market, and where you’ll find signature Christmas market features like a Christmas pyramid selling Glühwein, market stalls, and a stage for performances.
Alter Posthof
Another must-visit part of the Schwerin Christmas Market can be found at Posthof. Here, you’ll find a kids tent, animatronic displays, live artisan demonstrations and additional live performances.
Pfaffenteich
This exciting portion of the Schwerin Christmas Market can be found along the southern side of the Pfaffentwich pond, and is where you’ll find a large ferris wheel, toboggan slide, carousel, and a beautiful alpine hut to warm up with some tasty Christmas market food and drink.
Mecklenburgstrasse
Last but not least, if your goal is to shop, definitely don’t miss a stroll along Mecklenburgstrasse, where you’ll find a nice variety of Christmas market stalls selling all kinds of nice decorations, gifts, and foodie favorites.
